Air Traffic Services Personnel Licenses and Ratings – Part 65
Part 65 lays out what someone needs to do to hold an air traffic service licence, and ratings; what the licence and ratings allow them to do, and what they won’t allow them to do.
You will need to complete and submit the relevant application form and with a copy of your online payment receipt. Click here to download the relevant application form.
Payment is required prior to processing applications.
Once fee is paid, complete licence application and include receipt number. Email licence application to Lic.applications@caa.govt.nz.
CAA participant number. If you do not have a CAA participant number, CAA will allocate one when the application is received.
If you do not wish to proceed with the online option, you can post your payment, together with the completed application form, to the CAA
There is no fee for the addition of 'aircraft type ratings', 'navigation aids', chemical, topdressing, spray or VTA ratings when applying for any other chargeable rating at the same time. Aerobatic rating isn't included.
